My very first needle felts, a derpy palm-sized penguin and even tinier panda, made of acrylic yarn (NOT wool).


Never heard of needle felting until the other day, but I immediately fell in love and ordered supplies.

Got a set of needles the other day, but since I wouldn't get my wool until Monday (today), I couldn't wait.

So I shredded some acrylic yarn and felted with that instead.

Hopefully wool will felt better than synthetic fiber ahaha.x3

I look forward to practicing more and selling these someday.o3o



How is a Needle Felted Doll made?

_{By poking unspun wool fibers with a notched needle until they firm into the desired shape.  This is known as soft sculpting, and can take hours just to make the smallest and simplest characters.  You can find more info on Google, of course.^^}
